British Othello Junior Championship T&Cs

  • The British Othello Junior Championships are free to enter and require no purchase to participate.
  • The British Othello Junior Champion must be a full citizen of the UK.
  • To enter the British Othello Junior Championships, the junior player must be under the age of 15 at the end of October (2018) to compete.
  • The winner will be crowned the first Official British Junior Champion and will go onto to represent the UK at the World Othello Championships in Prague in October 9-12, 2018.
  • The winner of the British Othello Junior Championships will receive an all-expenses paid trip, including accommodation, flights and food (up to the value of £1,750) for themselves and one (1) parent or guardian to Prague, to compete at the World Othello Championships.
  • The British Othello Champion must be available to travel between the 9th October to the 12th October 2018 with parental and school permission.
  • If the British Othello Junior Champion is unable to attend the World Othello Championship in Prague, then the runner-up will take their place.
  • The winner and parent/ guardian will be expected to take part in publicity after the event. This includes but is not limited to photography, publishing the winner’s name, location and photo in press releases, blogs, news sites and social media posts.
  • The prize is subject to availability, non-transferable, non-exchangeable and there is no cash alternative. John Adams Leisure Ltd reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at any time. John Adams Leisure Ltd accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with the prize and not specifically included in the prize.
